Check Out The BOSEŽ "BIV" System

While all of the components of an audio system are important, your speakers are the ones that actually deliver the sound to your ears. That's why it's so important to pick great speakers that are suited to your needs.

The basic technology is actually quite simple and hasn't changed much for nearly 50 years. Most speakers feature a combination of drivers and a crossover inside a cabinet. The crossover circuit divides the audio signal into various frequency bands, then sends those bands to the drivers most capable of reproducing them. This kind of precision permits highly accurate reproduction of sound.

"Why do I need all those speakers?"
Art imitates life. In the real world, we don't just hear sounds in front of us, but from the back and sides as well. In their attempts to make movies as lifelike as possible, directors duplicate this experience by sending certain sounds to the sides and rear of the listeners. For these reasons, modern soundtracks include additional channels that "surround" their audiences with sound. When movies are auditioned through a multi-speaker theater array, viewers are placed "in the center" of the action. That's why you need all those speakers!

A chain is only as strong as the weakest link. This is as true in home theater systems as it is in many other things. With today's home theater systems, every speaker in the system has a vital job and must do it well. That's why we install Aperion, BOSE, DCM and many other quality speakers for your listening pleasure.

We also install whole house stereo systems as well. You can have speakers in every room of your house with a volume control for each room and run this all from one receiver and amplifier. We can run other wires as well. Like CAT5/CAT6 for your home network, RG-6 for cable and satellite television, telephone cable, and can set your home up with an alarm system. We install all your home's low voltage needs.

We now offer the new BOSE "BIV" systems (BUILT-INvisible). These systems are best installed in the new construction phase of a new home, but can also be incorporated into an existing home. The "BIV" system places all the speakers in the wall and the accoustimass either in the floor or in the ceiling, all you see is the speaker grills or a vent grill. With a new Bose system, you can run a 5.1 system in one room and up to 14 other rooms (zones) on another source. Each room (zone) gets its own remote to control the volume. So, you could have Jimmy Buffett on the deck while you are grilling or entertaining friends, and the kids could be inside enjoying a movie in 5.1 surround sound. With a Lifestyle system, you can have up to 340 hours worth of CD's stored right there on the system and ready to play at anytime.
